If you are a Saudi citizen, the government has made freelancing incredibly easy through the Freelance.sa portal. This document (called Wtheeqah) is free and allows you to open a business bank account.

The 4-Step Process:

1. Register: Go to Freelance.sa and sign up using your phone number.
2. Verify: Link your account with Absher (National Single Sign-On) to verify your identity.
3. Choose Skill: Select your specialization (e.g., Marketing, Programming, Design).
